Wie hier bereits erwähnt, ist seit kurzer Zeit unsere Palm Applikation “Chuck Norris Facts” im App Catalog erschienen. Mit dem heutigen Tag zählen wir 18253 Downloads und 234 Rezensionen. An dieser Stelle bedanken wir uns herzlichst für eure Unterstützung

Wir haben uns eure Rezensionen (nur die Konstruktiven) zu Herzen genommen und diese App aufgebessert. In der aktuellen Version [1.3.0], die sich noch im Review Prozess befindet, wurde folgende BugFixes und Updates implementiert:

• Schütteln reagiert besser und lädt jeweils nur ein neuen Fakt rein.
• Das Versenden per SMS wurde hinzugefügt.
• Der Hut wurde durch ein Chuck Norris Bild ersetzt.
• Die Fakt-Datenbank wurde auf über 3000 Fakts aufgestockt, somit wiederholen sich die Fakts nicht mehr so oft.

In dieser Version haben wir folgende bekannte Bugs:

• Zu lange Fakts können nicht gescrollt werden. Momentan werden sie unten einfach abgeschnitten.

Anhand der vorhandenen Rezensionen ist mir aufgefallen, dass trotz des Fakt-Updates sich einige Benutzer immer noch beschweren, dass die Fakt sich zu schnell wiederholen. Aus diesem Grund möchte ich euch aufzeigen, wie ihr neue Fakts nachladen könnt.

Dazu geht ihr einfach in das Applikations-Menü, oben links und wählt “Facts aktualisieren…” Siehe Bild 1:

Sobald ihr dies angeklickt habt, werden neue Facts auf euer Handy geladen. Somit steht dem Spaß nichts mehr im Wege.

As mentioned before, our palm app “Chuck Norris Facts” is available in the app catalog since awhile. Down to the present day we have reached 18253 downloads and 234 reviews. At this point we would like to thank you for your support

We took your reviews to heart (only the construktive ones) and improved our app. In the actual version [1.3.0}, which is in ne review process of palm right now, we made the following bugfixes and implemented new features:

• shaking reacts better and switch only one fact at one time
• now you can send the fact by sms or email
• the hat image was replaced by a chuck norris image
• fact database was updated. Now you have over 3000 facts. The repetative issue should be solved with this.

Following bugs are known and not fixed yet:

• you can’t scroll to long facts, so they get cut off at the bottom

Based on your reviews I noticed that there are some problems with the reload function for ne facts. So I decied to give you an advice how to update your Chuck Norris facts.

Start the “Chuck Norris Facts” application and go to the app menu. Select “Update Facts…” and here we go. See image 1:
